Our foyer is a wide open and illuminated space for gathering and check-in, with our holy water font in the center of the room.

The Spiritual Life Center is situated on 38 acres in Bel Aire, KS.
Campus
The Spiritual Life Center is located on the campus of the Catholic Life, directly next to the Catholic Care Center, and is operated by the Catholic Diocese of Wichita.
Conference Rooms & Meeting Spaces
Main Assembly
Our main conference room, located on the ground floor. Seats 140 - 200 people and has projector/recording capabilities, a coffee bar, piano, and our icon display of the Church Doctors.
Cana
Located upstairs, Cana fits 30-60 people, has projector capabilities and spacious back counters for the coffee bar and socials.
Lower Level Lounge
The Lower Level Lounge is located downstairs and seats around 50 people. It is secluded and quiet, perfect for meetings seeking a space for silent reflection.
Marian
This ground floor space seats 35-45 people and is perfect for medium sized groups and is easily accessible.
John Paul II
This small, ground floor room seats 16-24 people and is a secluded space perfect for small groups, break out meetings, or private studies.
St. Joseph
This small room seats 16-24 people and is located close to our main conference rooms and other facilities, making it a great break out space or room for small meetings.
Mother Teresa
This small, upstairs room seats 16-24 people and is a secluded space perfect for small groups, break out meetings, or private studies.
Library
Our library is open to in-house research and study and can also be used as a meeting space for small groups of up to 6 people.
Hall Office
This small office on the ground floor with computer access is a perfect place for private work, study, or small one-on-one meetings.
Guest Facilities
Bedrooms
The Spiritual Life Center has 58 guest bedrooms with two ADA approved rooms.
Bathrooms
Each bedroom is equipped with a private bathroom. Towels and hand soap are provided. Guests need to bring all other toiletries.
Ground Floor Lounge
The downstairs lounge is a quiet and well-lit place to meet during a retreat or study quietly and comfortably.
Upstairs Lounge
The Center also has an upstairs lounge between the conference rooms and the guest rooms.
Moving In
The Center has two large luggage carts available for guest use in transporting personal items to their rooms. Staff are available during business hours if any other assistance is needed.
Food and Drink
Dining Room
Our dining room can be configured in a variety of ways to fit up to 152 people for casual to banquet style meals.
Our Kitchen
The Spiritual Life Center has all-star chefs with stellar skill in cooking up creative and filling meals. The kitchen can cater to a variety of dietary needs and is versatile with a salad bar and other options upon inquiry.
Socials
The Spiritual Life Center offers a wide variety of snacks and socials available for your programs, from something as simple as granola bars and baked goods to more elaborate fruits, veggie, and meat trays.
Guest Kitchen
Within the residence halls, there is a guest lounge with a fully functional kitchen, allowing guests to bring and prepare their own food while on private retreats if they wish.
Coffee Bar
The Center provides free coffee around the building with stands located in two conference rooms and a ground floor guest lounge.
Tea Stand
The Center also provides a selection of free teas, located next to the coffee bars.
Spiritual Spaces
The Mary the First Disciple Chapel
Our main chapel, also referred to as the Marian Chapel, can seat 100 - 120 people and is used for all main liturgical events.
The Blessed Sacrament Chapel
The "Rock Chapel" is a quiet, beautiful spot to pray and adore Christ in the tabernacle. With tall windows along the walls, during the day this chapel has a calming, scenic atmosphere.
Outdoor Stations
Across our grounds to the right of the Center is our outdoor Stations of the Cross walking path. Contemplate on the Passion of our Lord as you walk around the path from station to station, reaching the emptied tomb at the center of the structure.
Confessionals
The Center has three confessionals in and near the chapels, able to be used during retreats.
Sacristy
Priests at the Center are welcome to make use of the sacristy while preparing for the Mass and other Sacraments, located to the right of the Marian chapel's side doors.
Outdoor Attractions
John the Baptist Nature Walk
Take some time to explore the Center's nature walk and its many quiet paths and scenic spaces.
Courtyards
Center has two small courtyards within the Center's main building. Easily accessible and tranquil, they are perfect spaces for outdoor gatherings during retreats and personal meditation.
Outdoor Statues
You will find several devotional statues around the Center's grounds, directing your attention to the holy and spiritual.
Scenic Views
Our nature walk has several rest spots along the path where you can stop and take a moment to meditate and observe the beauty of God's creation.
Groundskeeping
The Center's crew of wonderful volunteers keep our grounds beautiful and clean. Check out our volunteer page on the website if you'd like to join them.
Outdoor Events
Enjoy the grounds as incorporated parts of some of our events like the Palm Sunday retreat and other Lenten programs which often feature torchlit processions through the Stations of the Cross.
